As part of the ongoing ‘Operation Crackdown’, security forces apprehended two more suspected ULFA(I) linkmen in Upper Assam on Tuesday along with recovery of IEDs from multiple locations.
In a joint operation, in different parts of the state, security forces have apprehended 15 persons including three women on Saturday night for planting suspected IED like materials during Independence Day celebrations this year.
According to Ri Bhoi District Superintendent of Police (SP) Jagpal Singh Dhanoa, a Bolero Pick-up vehicle bearing registration number ML- 12-3243 and driven by one Damanbha Ripnar was detained at Umsning-Mawhati Road around 6 PM.
