The Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT) has announced plans to complete an organizational restructuring by November 10 in preparation for the upcoming village council elections in Tripura.
Ahead of Lok Sabha elections in Tripura, the NDA partners consisting of the ruling BJP, IPFT and their recent partner Tipra Motha held their first coordination meeting in the state.
Animesh Debbarma, the opposition leader in Tripura, has strongly criticized the state's ruling BJP-Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPFT) government on multiple issues, ranging from the surge in drug cases to power tariff hikes, random property tax notices, and alleged extortion related to Durga Puja subscriptions.
