The Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) on Wednesday sought the intervention of the Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma to notify Khasi language as an official language in order to pave way for unemployed youth to be eligible for recruitment in the Department of Posts (GDS Section) and other central government offices in Meghalaya.

HSPDP president KP Pangniang has denied that there is any move to pull out of the Regional Democratic Alliance (RDA).

Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) president KP Pangniang on Tuesday said that the Regional Democratic Alliance (RDA) was formed under the leadership of former UDP president (L) Dr Donkupar Roy and former HSPDP president, Ardent M Basaiawmoit, who is now leading the newly floated VPP in the state.
