Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday spoke to Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha and enquired about the flood situation, and assured him of full assistance from the Centre.
Speaking to reporters, he said the situation along the Tripura-Bangladesh border is being closely monitored. He said he is in continuous touch with central authorities and following their instructions besides taking regular updates from the Chief Secretary, Director General of Police, Assam Rifles, and the Border Security Force (BSF).
