Shillong Lajong FC (SLFC) and defending champions Mawlai SC maintained their dominance of the OC Blue Shillong Premier League (SPL) 2024 with wins in their respective matches at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here on Saturday.
Damanbhalang Chyne (70’) headed Mawlai into the lead only for Yohaan Benjamin (82’) to equalise for Lajong with less than 10 minutes left on the clock.
Defending champions Rangdajied United FC were in for a shock on Monday as they were held to a goalless draw by Rymbai Skhenshynriah in Group D of the Meghalaya State League 2024 (MSL 2024) at Khliehriat as matches in five of the six zones were held across the state.
