In order to enhance the quality of healthcare services for the citizens of the State, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma alongwith Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh held a meeting with officials from the health department on Friday to discuss strategies for bolstering healthcare infrastructure and improving healthcare accessibility in the state.
Using garbage for energy can neatly solve the issue of excessive reliance on landfills while at the same time helping address residents’ energy and heating needs.
The work of this project will begin this year. Meghalaya chief minister also pointed out about his strong proponent of the idea that the Northeast needs to look at things together, and that we can't segregate ourselves from it.
Speaking to reporters after the cabinet meeting, government official spokesperson and cabinet minister, Dr M Ampareen Lyngdoh said, “We also amended the modified version of the OM dated 1974”.
