Labelling the Meghalaya Residents, Safety and Security (Amendment) Bill (MRSSAB), 2020, as an alternative to the Inner Line Permit (ILP), Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Wednesday said the state government is re-examining the Bill after it was returned by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong on Friday informed that the State government will next week meet to discuss the queries of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) with regards to the Meghalaya Residents, Safety and Security (Amendment) Bill, 2020.
