Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has invited pro-Inner Line Permit (ILP) groups for talks on Friday following their decision to intensify checking of documents of migrant workers across the Khasi-Jaintia region of the state.
This was informed by the KSU president Lambokstarwell Marngar on occasion to observe the 189th death anniversary of a legendary Khasi freedom fighter – U Tirot Sing Syiem – who rebelled against the British Empire, held in the city on Wednesday.
