Five militants affiliated with the National Liberation Federation of Tripura (NLFT) Biswamohan (BM) faction have surrendered to the Dhalai district police in Tripura after crossing over from neighbouring Bangladesh, according to local authorities.
The villagers in the periphery between Bishnupur and Churachandpur district of Manipur remain in tension as armed militant group continue to attack the villages.
