Assam is emerging as a frontrunner in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, said Education Minister Ranoj Pegu during an event in Guwahati on Saturday.
The creation of ASSEB integrates the responsibilities previously divided between SEBA, which was responsible for the high school education (up to Class 10), and AHSEC, responsible for higher secondary education (Classes 11 and 12).
