Deputy Chief Minister in-charge PWD Prestone Tynsong on Tuesday informed that he has directed the Chief Engineer (National Highways) to verify the allegation made in regards to the implementation of the road project Dawki-Amlarem-Jowai by the Dhar construction company.
It also directed the State to convene a meeting with the representatives of the NHAI and the local administration to address the particular problems pertaining to the Jowai -Ratacherra stretch of NH-6.
