The Green Highways Policy 2015 implementation has been unsatisfactory in Assam, with limited plantation activity along the state's National Highways (NHs).
Talking to reporters in Guwahati, Gadkari said, "Projects worth ₹2,89,425 have been given to NE in the last 10 years. These comprise upcoming, ongoing and completed projects.”
