The meeting was held at Nongpoh in Ri-Bhoi district as the representatives of NEPMU refused to come to Shillong for the meeting citing fear. The meeting was attended by government officials, Petroleum Marketing Companies and Petroleum owners along with NEPMU members at Nongpoh Circuit House in Nongpoh.
