In a serious blow to insurgent groups operating in Upper Assam, Indian Army apprehended an NSCM(IM) cadre and recovered war like stores from Inthem Ghat in Pengree in eastern Assam Tinsukia on Thursday
After getting specific inputs regarding the presence of the terrorists in the area, a joint operation was launched by the Longding police and the military personnel in the area between Longding town and Niausa village, which led to the arrest of the operatives.
