The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), a key regional party in Assam, has rolled out grassroots initiatives—Gaone Gaone AGP (Village by Village AGP) and Nogore Nogore AGP (Town by Town AGP)—as part of its strategy to strengthen its base ahead of the upcoming panchayat elections.
Nine people were allegedly killed in election-related violence in West Bengal since midnight as voting was underway on Saturday for the three-tier Panchayat polls in the state.
