The Department of Public Health Engineering (PHE), observed the World Water Day 2024 at the U Soso Tham Auditorium, Shillong. The theme for World Water Day this year is ‘Water for Peace’.
Minister in-charge PHE department, Marcuise N. Marak, on Tuesday informed that the Bulk Water Supply Scheme approved by the Centre under the North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS) will help to address the shortage of water supply faced by Tura town.
