The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) on Thursday requested the Meghalaya Governor to speed up granting assent to as many as seven pending Bills passed by the Council last year.
This was informed by the Convener of the 10 autonomous district councils (ADCs) from the North East and KHADC chief, Pyniaid Sing Syiem, after a meeting held with the Adviser to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), AK Mishra, in Delhi on Saturday
