The Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu said that the results of the high school leaving certificate (HSLC) examination will be declared during the festive season of Bohag Bihu in the state.
Two opposition Congress MLAs of Assam Assembly were briefly suspended on Friday as they did not listen to the Speaker's ruling and continued to raise issues regarding anomalies in the Education Department.
"The evaluation exercise through Gunotsav gives an opportunity to see where Assam’s education development stands in comparison to previous years," Pegu said.
