In a major achievement for Meghalaya’s textile industry, its handwoven, handspun, naturally dyed, organically produced, ethically sourced fabric ‘Ryndia’, along with ‘Meghalaya Handloom Products’ have been officially granted the Geographical Indication (GI) tag by the Government of India.
