NIT Silchar is in the eye of the storm once again after a student was found dead inside his hostel room on the campus on Friday in Assam's Cachar district. The campus was gripped with tension for the entire night on Friday as students protested against the administration, forcing police to lathi-charge the students to bring the situation under control.
