Deputy Chief Minister in charge Urban Affairs Sniawbhalang Dhar on Tuesday informed that the department is in the process of identifying places to rehabilitate hawkers from Khyndailad area.
Andrew A. Jyrwa, the Rangbah Shnong of Laitumkhrah, stated that the Dorbar Shnong will restrict the influx of street vendors within the Shnong Jurisdiction once the government enacts the Meghalaya Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Scheme 2023.
