Police have completed the post mortem on the body of the 3rd year student of NIT Silchar, who allegedly died by suicide in his hostel room on Friday evening. His body has been handed over to his family members, who arrived at the campus on Saturday from Arunachal Pradesh.
The absconding suspect Anurag Chaliha was apprehended from Demow on Monday night by a joint team of Guwahati police and Sivasagar police for his alleged involvement in the sensational suicide case of BJP leader Indrani Tahbildar.
