The Harijan Panchayat Committee (HPC) on Monday appealed to the state government for extension of the time to response to the blueprint for relocation of 342 families from Them Iew Mawlong (Sweeper’s Lane).
The decision was announced after a meeting convened by the deputy chief minister in-charge home Prestone Tynsong and deputy chief minister in-charge urban affairs Sniawbhalang Dhar with the delegation of the Harijan Panchayat Committee (HPC), who were accompanied by representatives of the Delhi Gurudwara at the main secretariat on Thursday.
