“If I am long gone, tell all the students to wear taekwondo dress with one flower in their hands and visit my house.” This was the last message of Eugene K. Marak, the renowned taekwondo master from Garo Hills, who breathed his last on November 2, 2024, at the age of 69 years.
In a brief ceremony held at the Chief Minister's Office on Thursday, Grand Master Prof Hee Do Kim, 9th Dan, and Grand Master Lee Jae Ku, International Master 8th Dan, South Korea, presented Lalduhoma an honorary 7th Dan black belt, along with a certificate of appreciation.
According to the Taekwondo Federation of India's rules, any additional Taekwondo association operating within the same state will be considered in violation of the regulations.
