Meghalaya Police on Friday issued advisory after very heavy rain to extremely heavy Rain is forecasted at most places over Meghalaya's East Jaintia Hills in the next 24 hours.
The Deputy Comissioner and Chairman, District Disaster Mananagement Authority of North Garo Hills, Meghalaya on Thursday directed all the school authorities in the district to remain closed on Friday due to prevailing bad weather conditions.
