Tripura Police apprehended three persons with brown sugar worth Rs 10 crore.

Addressing the media at Agartala's Pragnya Bhavan on Tuesday, Chief Minister Saha emphasized the state's resolute stance on eradicating drug-related issues.

The group had arrived from Bengaluru on the Ham Safar Express and had been in the vicinity of Rajbati railway station, making arrangements for their journey back to Bangladesh, when the police took them into custody.

Two individuals, one from Iran and the other from Bangladesh, have been apprehended by the Tripura police at Amatoli police station in Agartala. The arrests took place close to Bangladesh border in the Aswani market area on the outskirts of Agartala on Wednesday.
