Dr. Sarbeswar Sahariah and Dr. Ilias Ali, both recipients of the Padma Shri award, officially University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) on Thursday. While Padma Shri Dr Sahariah has joined as the Pro Vice Chancellor of USTM, Padma Shri Dr Ilias Ali has joined as Distinguished Professor at the upcoming PA Sangma International Medical College & Hospital (PIMCH) of USTM.

Led by General Secretary Tony Shylla, Vice President RC. Thangkhiew, and Vice President Warnes Lamin, HYC members conducted surprise inspections and discovered that both male and female youths have been utilising the area for drinking and smoking.
