In a tragic incident, a 50-years-old woman was shot dead and her face disfigured in Manipur's Imphal East district on Saturday late evening, officials said.
Over 150 medical students belonging to tribal communities, under the banner of Joint Students Body (JSB), organized a protest rally on Saturday at the Churachandpur Medical College campus to condemn the ongoing violence in Manipur.
