World Tuberculosis (TB) Day was observed at the District TB Hospital with the theme “Yes! We Can End TB – Commit, Invest, Deliver.” The event aimed to raise awareness about TB, its prevention and the need for collective efforts to eliminate the disease.

The District Tuberculosis Centre of West Garo Hills observed World TB Day at the Asanang Multi-Facility Centre on Friday, under the global theme “Yes! We Can End TB – Commit, Invest, Deliver.” The event saw participation from students of Asanang Secondary School, teachers, Village Health Committee (VHC) members, and was graced by Chingsime N. Sangma, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) of Rongram Block, as the Chief Guest.
