The relocation of the Assam Rifles establishment from Aizawl to Zokhawsang was formally completed in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Mizoram on Saturday.
The Assam Rifles would vacate its battalion headquarter at Aizawl and shift to Zokhawsang next year under a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) signed between the Mizoram government and the paramilitary force.
