Guwahati, May 16: A Tinsukia bound night super met with an accident in the wee hours of Thursday at Kohora area under Kaziranga in Assam.

According to reports, several persons sustained injuries after the night service bus met with an accident. At the time of the accident, the bus was carrying 30-40 passengers.

According to reports, the accident took place very close to a petrol pump in Kaziranga’s Kohora. The night service bus named ‘Kriti’ which was involved in the accident had registration number AS 12 E 9481.

Locals rushed to the place and helped the injured passengers and transported them to a nearby hospital.

No casualties have been reported and most of the injured passengers are undergoing treatment at hospital.

Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the accident.
