Traffic and parking advisory announced for ISL match in Shillong on February 7

Shillong, Feb 5: The Superintendent of Police East Khasi Hills on Wednesday has issued a public notice regarding traffic regulations and parking arrangements for the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-2025 football match between NorthEast United FC and Mumbai FC at JN Stadium on February 7.

Traffic Restrictions from 4 PM Onwards:

To ensure smooth traffic flow, several entry points will be restricted, and diversions will be in place:

1. No entry at Lumjingshai Junction (towards CRPF Junction) – Vehicles to be diverted towards Lawmali Junction.

2.No entry at Lumjingshai Junction (towards Forest Colony).

3.No entry at 4th Furlong Junction (towards Polo Market) – Vehicles to be diverted towards C.S. Junction.

4.No right turn at Matri Mandir Junction (towards Polo Market) – Vehicles to be diverted towards 4th Furlong Junction.

Designated Parking Areas for Public:

To accommodate spectators, the following parking spaces have been designated:

•SRGT Parking Lot.

•Opposite Software Technology Park, Lumjingshai.

•Golf Link parking near the ticket counter (Opposite Golf Retreat).

•One-side parking from Tiara Restaurant Junction to CM Office Connect.

Emergency service vehicles will be allowed to operate without restrictions.

The SP urged the public to cooperate with the authorities to ensure a smooth and safe experience during the match.
