Itanagar, Mar 10: All for the sake of people and development, that’s what three political leaders had to say, who have come together to take on a seasoned politician and a minister in Arunachal.
The trio had fought separately in the past but in the upcoming assembly election in Arunachal, they have decided and have chosen Ngonglin Boi. The trio held a meeting on Saturday afternoon in Turet village in Soha under Tirap district and urged the people to support Boi’s candidature.
The names of the trio, who had contested separately in the past are Towang Lowang (NPP), Litwang Lowang (Congress) and Ngonglin Boi (JD – U)
Boi will be contesting from Namsang assembly constituency and will take on sitting MLA and minister Wanki Lowang.
Addressing the gathering, Boi, a native of Turet village, appealed to the people to vote for development only during the elections.
Lowang has been representing Namsang since 1999 and is one of the senior legislator in Arunachal Pradesh.
