Agartala, Feb 1: TIPRA Motha has become the first political party in the northeast to start crowd funding ahead of the Tripura assembly polls.
TIPRA Motha chief Pradyut Deb Barma said, “Tipra Motha is a new party, which was not supported by big businessman. BJP supported by Ambani and Adani, Congress supported by big man while CPI(M) supported by Kerala government. Tipra Motha don’t compromise with any party not given money, so today we are contesting without alliance.”
“We open our bank account and I urge all Tiprsa and our well-wishers to donate money and support us. If we want to change the system, we want to show public from where the money has been coming and this bank account will give you all details. By opening this bank account, we have offered you to donate a little money and help us to win the upcoming assembly elections,” Pradyut Deb Barma said.

The Tripura Legislative Assembly polls will be held on February 16 and the result will be declared on March 2.
