Agartala, December 15: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha demonstrated his commitment to public welfare, going beyond the call of duty to assist a road accident victim.
While returning from a government function in Udaipur, Gomati district, Dr. Saha came across a distressing scene on Gokulnagar Road in Sepahijala district — an injured person lying helpless after an accident.
Exemplifying compassion and decisive leadership, the Chief Minister halted his convoy and sought assistance from local residents. Together, they arranged for the injured individual to be transported to the nearest hospital using a convoy vehicle.
Understanding the urgency of timely medical care, Dr. Saha personally contacted the attending doctors, urging them to provide the best possible treatment. He also conveyed his wishes for the victim’s speedy recovery.
Dr. Saha thanked local residents for their prompt action and readiness to assist during the crisis, highlighting the importance of community support in such emergencies.
