Agartala, Feb 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a poll rally at the Swami Vevekananda Maidan in Tripura’s Agartala on Monday.

According to party sources, the rally is scheduled to take place at 3 pm in the state’s capital.

This will be second visit of PM Modi in poll-bound Tripura.

On February 11, the Prime Minister had addressed two rallies in Tripura, where he criticised the CPI-M and Congress.

The 60-member Tripura assembly will go for polls on February 16.

The BJP has declared candidates for 55 assembly seats while leaving the remaining five seats for its alliance partner the Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT). The Left-Congress alliance has also declared its candidates for all 60 seats.
