Tripura’s doctor CM aids fainting school headmistress

Agartala, Apr 22: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha sprang into action during a public event after a school headmistress suddenly fell ill on stage. A doctor by profession, Dr Saha, was the chief guest at the programme when he noticed Dr Ratna Chaudhury, Headmistress of Amtali HS School, appear to faint.

Without hesitation, the CM checked her pulse and immediately called for a medical team. His prompt response drew praise from the gathered audience.

Dr Saha, a dental surgeon by training, previously served as a faculty member at Tripura Medical College in Hapania before assuming office as chief minister.

The public applauded his swift and compassionate response, a reminder of his medical roots in the midst of his political responsibilities.
