Agartala, Mar 26: Ahead of Lok Sabha elections in Tripura, the NDA partners consisting of the ruling BJP, IPFT and their recent partner Tipra Motha held their first coordination meeting in the state.
Top leaders from all three political parties participated in the meeting and discussed strategies for the forthcoming parliamentary elections.
Tripura BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee talked about the need for the joint coordination among the three parties at the grassroots upto the mandal levels.
Bhattacharjee added that the meeting aimed to discuss election strategies and how the joint parties will emerge victorious in both parliamentary seats-East Tripura and West Tripura.
He emphasizing the collective commitment to support Narendra Modi’s leadership and ensure his re-election as Prime Minister by blooming the lotus in both constituencies.
The coordination meeting not only reaffirmed the unity within the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Tripura but also signaled their readiness to face the electoral challenges ahead, with a shared vision of advancing the interests of the state and supporting the national leadership.
Former Opposition Leader Animesh Debbarma, now representing TIPRA Motha as a Minister, and former Minister and IPFT president Prem Kumar Reang were among the notable attendees who along with the BJP state president addressed a press conference after the meeting along with Bhattacharjee.
The meeting, which extended for over two hours, witnessed the presence of Chief Minister Manik Saha, TIPRA Motha founder Pradyot Kishore Debbarma, former MLA and Motha president Bijoy Kumar Hwrhankal, and other key leaders from all three parties.
