Tura, June 25: In a remarkable achievement, Anusa M. Sangma, a second-semester student of Don Bosco College, Tura, secured a gold medal at the 3rd National Open Kyorugi and Poomsae Taekwondo Championship. The event, organized by the Tamil Nadu Taekwondo Association, was held on 20th June 2024 at the Mahatma Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Salem, Tamil Nadu. Anusa clinched the top spot in the Senior Female category, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.

Anusa’s victory has brought immense pride and honor to Don Bosco College and the state of Meghalaya. Her outstanding performance reflects the hard work and perseverance she has invested in her training.
