Tura, June 11: Danakgre YSCA secured a big win against Galmak FC in the First Division of the Tura Football League while the Second Division match between Chitoktak YC and Ambri A’ding CYC ended in a 0-0 draw.
Both the First and Second Division matches of the Tura Football League were played at the Chandmari Football Turf on Tuesday.
In the Second Division match, Chitoktak YC and Ambri A’ding CYC faced a stalemate as both sides were unable to convert their chances throughout the game. Despite numerous attempts, both teams faced offsides and failed to score, resulting in a goalless draw with no yellow cards issued.
In the First Division match, Danakgre YSCA dominated Galmak FC with a 5-1 win. Richard Ch Marak opened the scoring for Danakgre YSCA in the 18th minute, followed by Toseng M Sangma in the 28th minute. Galmak FC quickly responded with a goal by Wicky Ch Marak in the 29th minute.
In the second half, Tokan Ch Marak scored a hat trick with goals in the 53rd, 58th, and 76th minutes, securing the victory for Danakgre YSCA. Galmak FC struggled to convert their chances and remained with their solitary goal.
Tengnang M Sangma of Danakgre YSCA received the only yellow card of the match in the 6th minute.
Additionally, due to various technical reasons, the Super Division final match between Chipakkore FC and Selsella SA, originally scheduled for June 15th, has been postponed to June 22nd. The match will be held at P. A. Sangma Stadium in Dakopgre, Tura, at 6 PM.
