Tura, June 8: The First and Second Division matches, played at Chandmari Football Turf on Friday saw two skillful matches. Dokakku FC defeated Proper Burny Hills YC in a 2-1 victory in the Second Division, whereas in the First Division, Babelapara SYC won 2-0 against Chandmary FC.
In the Second Division, Dokakku FC took the lead in the first half when Chebath Sangma found the back of the net twice in the 16th and 34th minute mark respectively.
Proper Burny Hills YC did get a chance at redemption in the second half, when their Leo M Marak scored a goal in the 80th minute.
The two goals scored in the first half was enough for Dokakku FC to grab the win against the solitary goal by Proper Burny Hills YC. No cautionary cards were dealt in the match.
In the First Division, the first half of the match ended with no goals being registered by both teams. With equally maintaining ball possession, both teams stood strong in their defense.
Babelapara SYC finally managed to grab the victory with Sengrang Marak scoring a goal in the 44th minute and Larys Lomo Marak scoring the second goal during the allotted additional minute (80+1).
The match between Chandmary FC and Babelapara SYC was a sight to see with both teams equally demonstrating their skill and power, but eventually Chandmary FC fell short in converting their chances despite their best effort.
Songanan Shaiza of Chandmary FC received a yellow card in the 68th minute, whereas Nikesh Marak and Sengkam Sangma of Babelapara SYC received their cautionary yellow cards in the 56th and 69th minute respectively.
