Tura, May 26: Both Galmak FC and Babelapara SYC had to share a point each after the First Division match of the Tura Football League ended in a 2-2 draw.
In contrast, in the Second Division, Northern United grabbed all three points after beating Upper Beldarpara SWDC 2-0.
Both matches were played at Chandmari Football Turf, Tura, on Saturday.
In the First Division match between Galmak FC and Babelapara SYC, Babelapara SYC opened the scoring with a goal from Lastine Sangma in the 31st minute. However, Galmak FC responded with a goal by Wicky Marak in the 47th minute. In the second half, Galmak FC doubled their score with a goal by Nikrang Achura Marak in the 54th minute, but Babelapara SYC equalized in the 80th minute with a goal by Tengchuang Sangma.
In the Second Division, the two goals for Northern United were scored by Jarambong S Sangma in the 34th minute and Amdoan K Sangma in the 36th minute.
The two goals in the first half were enough for Northern United to secure the win and all three points.
