Shillong, Feb 18: The Police Department are tracing out the prisoners, Small Phawa and Kwall Laloo who are still absconding after they fled the Civil Hospital Jowai in early February this year.

Phawa was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for raping a minor while Laloo was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder.

Police sources said that the two criminals are still at large and the investigation is still on. The source said that the Phawa and Laloo were locked together in jail and were also together at the security cell of the Civil Hospital, Jowai.

They were taken to the hospital for treatment, Phawa was taken to the hospital on January 27 while Laloo was admitted on January 29.
