Shillong, Aug 12: Two Meghalaya Police officers have been conferred with the “Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation” for the year 2021.
The “Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation” has been conferred to Anurag Kumar, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police (WR), West Garo Hills, Tura who was on deputation to National Investigation Agency (NIA), Government of India.

The second officer to be conferred the Medal is Banraplang Jyrwa, Dy Superintendent of Police (City), East Khasi Hills, Shillong.
