Shillong, Sept 08: The weather was a complete spoilsport on Friday with both scheduled matches in the Meghalaya Cricket Association’s U-19 Girls Inter District Cricket Tournament getting washed out.
East Khasi Hills Cricket Association was scheduled to play their first match of the season against South West Khasi Hills District Cricket Association in Zone 1’s Group A at Umbuda, Ri-Bhoi. SWKH had lost their opening game against Ri-Bhoi.
In the single group Zone 2, Tura DCA, after losing on Thursday, were hoping to bounce back against hosts North Garo Hills DCA at Salpara.
On Saturday, in Zone 1’s Group B, West Jaintia Hills DCA will play their first game against West Khasi Hills DCA, while Tura DCA will take on East Garo Hills DCA in Zone 2.
