Update | Deputy CM Prestone Tynsong suffers subdural haemorrhage

Shillong, Sept 9: Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong was rushed to the hospital on Monday evening and doctors later diagnosed with a small subdural haemorrhage.

Tynsong was rushed to the hospital at around 5 pm to Nazareth Hospital. The Neurosurgery department is overseeing his treatment and also trying to identify the cause of the haemorrhage.

According to a health bulletin by State DIPR, Tynsong is under the close observation of specialists of the hospital. โ€œThe Deputy CM is conscious and alert and his condition is stable but he is under close medical observation,โ€ the bulletin said.

Earlier, a family source had informed that the Deputy CM was admitted to the hospital after experiencing fluctuating blood pressure.
