Shillong, Sept 9: Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong was rushed to the hospital on Monday evening and doctors later diagnosed with a small subdural haemorrhage.
Tynsong was rushed to the hospital at around 5 pm to Nazareth Hospital. The Neurosurgery department is overseeing his treatment and also trying to identify the cause of the haemorrhage.
According to a health bulletin by State DIPR, Tynsong is under the close observation of specialists of the hospital. “The Deputy CM is conscious and alert and his condition is stable but he is under close medical observation,” the bulletin said.
Earlier, a family source had informed that the Deputy CM was admitted to the hospital after experiencing fluctuating blood pressure.
