Tura, April 7: Wadanang lifted the Tura District Cricket Association (TDCA) 1st Division Inter Club Cricket title after a 36-run win over DYSCA in the final.

Batting first after winning the toss, Wadanang posted 163/9 in 25 overs. Openers Rakrik Marak and Kiron Shira gave a solid start with a 49-run partnership, before Wilco Marak anchored the innings with an unbeaten 54 off 42 balls.

In reply, DYSCA were bowled out for 127 despite a fighting 39 off 31 balls from Learypom. Wadanang’s Manish Rai starred with the ball, taking 4/17, while Waldo Sangma supported well with 3/14.

Wilco Marak was named Player of the Match for his all-round performance.

With this win, both Wadanang and DYSCA have earned promotion to the Super Division for the next season.
