Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma informed on Thursday that the police are actively pursuing the culprits behind the incident that led to the death of a house construction laborer in Mawlai Mawroh on Wednesday. Speaking to reporters, CM Conrad condemned the attack and stated that the investigation is underway to apprehend the culprits so they can be duly punished by the law. The CM mentioned that he has been in contact with the victim’s family members to express his condolences and assured them that the government will take this incident very seriously and the culprits will be apprehended.
