Tura, May 16: The 18th match of the Tura Football League saw a tense encounter between West Balalgre Club and BOCA Juniors at the Chandmari Football Turf on Wednesday.

West Balalgre opened the scoreline early with Erak Sangma converting a penalty in the 22nd minute.

However, BOCA Juniors had the opportunity to equalize when Salgrim Marak scored a penalty goal in the 28th minute.

Early in the match, Wlaseng Sangma maneuvered through the opponent’s defense and scored in the 42nd minute, giving West Balalgre Club a 2-1 lead at halftime.

After halftime, BOCA Juniors initially maintained possession until Bamte T. Sangma seized the opportunity and equalized in the 50th minute.

Despite a slight rainfall, the match continued with both teams vying for dominance but were marked by careless passes, numerous offside calls, and missed opportunities. The final whistle confirmed a 2-2 draw, with each team settling for one point.
