Tura, Aug 31: Mothers and their children actively took part in an early morning marathon Fit India Run “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” that was organized by the BSF at its Sector Headquarters campus in Dobasipara, Tura on Tuesday.

The 5 km run was flagged off by Alok Kumar Singh, DIG SHQ BSF, Tura.

BSF troops alongwith their family members and children enthusiastically participated and completed the run.

The run was organized to raise awareness of the physical and mental wellbeing as envisaged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a statement by the BSF mentioned.
